We recently compared five of the more popular golf cart bags that cost less than $100.00. These included the Bag Boy OCB 15, Cobra Sport, Nike Slingshot, Wilson Pro Staff and the Wilson Ultra cart bags.
All of these bags were of high quality, and we based our criteria on price, size of the top, number of dividers, features, weight and the number of colors available.
Based on these criteria, the Wilson Pro Staff cart bag ranked #1 in our testing. It has the largest top of the bunch (10.5 x 8 inches), and has 14-way, full-length dividers as well as an external putter well. The quality, fit and finish of this bag was excellent and it has plenty of pockets for all of your gear. And at $79.95, this bag is a steal.
Coming in at #2 was the Bag Boy OCB 15 cart bag. It also has 14-way, full length dividers as well as an outside putter clip. This bag sits on the cart perfectly so you have access to all of the pockets (10 in all).
The Nike Slingshot finished last… not because we didn’t think it was a nice looking bag, but it simply didn’t have the features that most of the other bags had.
